Free can recycling for Mountaineer tailgates
When in doubt, Phucket.
We roll a Phucket Bucket to your tailgate before kickoff and haul your empty cans away after the final whistle. It never costs you a dime. Drink your beer, then phucking recycle.
Score is the percent of tailgate cans we kept out of the landfill. It takes roughly 32 empty cans to make a pound of aluminum.
Meet the bin
The Phucket Bucket
Every tailgate that asks gets its own Phucket Bucket: a wheeled bin in navy and old gold, dressed in the ugliest sweater in Morgantown. Nobody's going to mistake it for the trash can.
- We wheel it to your spot before kickoff and roll it away full after the game.
- Aluminum cans only. Bottles, cups and plates go in the trash next to it.
- Totally free. Your empties and our merch cover the cost.

We drop it off
Your Phucket Bucket shows up at your spot before kickoff.
Drink your beer
Crack a cold one with your crew. That part's on you.
Phucking recycle
Toss the empty in the bucket. We haul it away after the game, and that can could be back on a store shelf in about 60 days.
Why "Phucket"?
We named the company after what everybody says right before they throw a can in the trash.
You've heard it. Somebody's holding an empty, the recycling bin is fifteen steps away, and they shrug and say it. We decided to take the word back. Now when you're about to give up on a can, you say Phucket, and you recycle it.

Two guys and a full trash can
Phucket Recycling started with a handful of empties and one simple idea.
One day we were sitting around next to a full trash can with empties in our hands. We started thinking about how many cans we'd thrown away over the years, and how many other people had done the exact same thing.
That's when it clicked. We could reach our fellow Mountaineers with a pitch so simple nobody could argue with it:
Drink your beer. Then phucking recycle.
We knew the die-hard fans would love how simple it is, and we knew Mountaineer Nation would show up for it.
We're just two guys who realized we could make an impact by embracing the fans we grew up with.
What we care about
Our three rules
Keep it simple
Drink your beer, then phucking recycle. That's the whole pitch.
Show up
When you ask for a bucket, it's at your spot before kickoff. Rain, snow or a bad loss.
Never charge you
Recycling your cans shouldn't cost you anything. Scrap aluminum and merch sales keep us running.

What goes in the bucket
Aluminum cans. That's it.
For now we only take aluminum cans. Keeping it to one material keeps it simple for you and keeps the bucket worth hauling for us.

Just empty them. No rinsing or crushing needed.
